My progress thread doesn't get much traffic so I'll make a thread. Thanks everyone.

Question--What is a good dip for zoas? Revive? Coral rX? I need to do something more than freshwater like I've been doing. I've been lucky thus far and do not want to keep pushing my luck.

I use Revive, have never had any issues with it. The only thing that bothers me is how funky it starts to smell after a large batch of corals have been processed thru it. Other than that I prefer using something that is going to kill and destroy those little pests that we dont want in the tank. I do keep a net handy though as some of the hitchhikers are kind of cool so I try to save some of the inverts that are hiding in there.

I've used API's MelaFix Marine mixed with tank water as a dip with excellent results. It was actually done in hindsight after the pests were discovered.

Well I'm going to give Revive a shot. I know the guy who is selling and no one has ever complained about his frags or pests so this is more of me going through the motions for frags in the future....as always, better safe than sorry. I pick up the polyps tomorrow so hopefully they'll be be extended before lights out :) Thanks for your input!

Furan-2. This was the best dip i ever did for my zoa's they all doubled in growth rate, size and coloring after this. You could try that, works wonders for zoa pox

I dip all my corals in Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure and have done so for years with great results.

I heard about this!! from my lfs cause 2 out of 8 of my zoa frags melted recently, all my parameters are fine, so I am going towards a disease. Furan-2 is the way to go
