Zoanthids2152 Mantis tank build(Mantis is in the tank!)

mine does this with hermits its quite funny watching him try to grab a huge hermit LOL

im guessing speares cant really eat hermits

 

Nope, i have two in there and also a snail..Dusnt touch them..

 

this might seem cruel, but they also eat fish to vary up their diet.

 

Here are some more pics of him getting his afternoon "workout"..This shrimp is literally psychotic..He runs around the tank in the same pattern..Looks at himself in the reflection and cleans his face and does a summer salt..Quite fun to watch though..hahaha

I also moved some rock around to get it all around the tank, i dont like a big pile, he seems to like it better too..LMK what you think of it.

I might get a chromis or a damsel the next time im at the LFS for him to eat next week..Sounds like a fun thing to watch..But yet sad for the damsel...Ehh..Nvm, damsels kill to many fish anyway..

i like it when the rock is spread out, mantis probably does too, gives hime more tunnels and a "safer" way to explore. and i LOVE the summersaults they are hilarious!

Yes me t oo! hahhaa, ill look for some stuff, i dont wanna waste money on live food..I think feeding live fish will be alota bad stuff in the water..I might stick with some ghost shrimp once a week and silver side twice a week..

Is this a okay feeding plan?

oh dang LOL yeah fish shouldnt be a problem for him. i kinda wanna drop a ghost shrimp in my tank to see my lil 1" guy go after him LOL
